Eyebrow Makeup

By

With eyebrow makeup many looks can be achieved. Dramatic eyes are best for the evening but when toned down they can give a nice look for daytime use. Select the right product and ask for tips to make the application of natural eye shadow perfect. Use a soft shade of eye shadow for daytime. Make sure to choose the right color. For the eyelid, use a skin-toned color and darker for the contrast. Blue eyes look fantastic with the shades of brown and blue. For green eyes, use purples, and shades of green for brown eyes. If the desired colors have been chosen, using a flat brush for eye shadow, apply the lightest among the colors to the entire eyelid.

Using a longer brush for eye shadow, use a darker color for the eye crease. Finish it off by putting a line only on the top lid using from medium to deep brown shade. Sweep two coats of mascara on the eye lashes.

Upon choosing an eyebrow makeup that is suitable for green eyes, the eye color and the skin tone should be considered. Many women who have green eyes have a fair skin complexion and lots of freckles. Those who have lighter skin should avoid eye make up that is shimmering or very deep. Those who have green eyes and an olive complexion should avoid blue and silver eye shadows. Women who have green eyes look fabulous in shades of brown, from beiges to chocolate browns. Pinks and purples look great with green eyes too. When sparingly applied, light green can create a very flattering effect. Like other eye colors, women with green eyes should not forget the application of an eye shadow primer to the whole lid area before beginning the color application.

Select three shades that coordinate from one color family. The deepest among the colors should be applied in the crease, the medium should be for the lid and the lightest should be applied on the bone of the brow.

In order to create a nice look for the evening, use an emerald green color as a lining for the bottom lashes. Just keep the colors simple during the day. After eye shadow application, apply dark brown mascara to the lashes. To finish the look, apply a lip color and rosy cheek.

Those who do not wear eyebrow makeup very often it may be hard to achieve a natural but beautiful finish. In choosing the colors start with the neutral ones. Before experimenting with metallic, bright and dark colors, it is important to be comfortable with the neutral ones. Everybody can choose to wear shades of brown. Once the application of shadows has been mastered an application of vibrant colors can be started. If choosing the colors is a problem, there are some makeup kits available in the market that come in a set of three coordinating colors.

When applying an eyebrow makeup, use a sponge applicator or an eye shadow brush. Apply the lightest shade from the crease going upwards to the eyebrow. Only apply thinly as not to make it cake. Medium colored shadow should be on the crease with the use of a tiny and angled make up brush. The medium shade should be applied on the entire lid all the way to the crease. Apply the darkest color shade to the crease using a tiny and angled brush. To create a more dramatic effect, wet the brush before the application. Using the tip of the fingers, blend the colors gently to each other for it not to look like a stark line. In clearing up the mistakes, use a cotton swab and dip it into a makeup remover.

Eyebrow makeup can be tricky to apply. You don’t want to get it too dark or you will look like a Muppet. The trick is to pick a shade that is 1 to 2 shades darker than the natural hair color of your eyebrows. You can use matte eye shadow or you can purchase an eyebrow pencil. To apply, follow the outline of your eyebrow. Do not apply too much or if using a pencil. You should lightly go over the eyebrow. If you press too hard it will make the brow too dark. Use a sponge to remove excess color. Eyebrow makeup can really make a difference in your look. It can make or break your face.

If you don’t want to bother with putting on eyebrow makeup, you can use permanent makeup eyebrows. This may be a drastic step to get this, so you may want to consider semi permanent make up. The semi permanent makeup can really make a difference especially if you have light practically invisible eyebrows.

Do not be afraid of experimenting with the eyebrow makeup. This will help in achieving the desired look. Have fun in doing so, but avoid making yourself look like a clown. Start with neutral colors and move on to the vibrant ones once comfortable with neutrals.
